Problem
A Freight Forwarding service from China to the Netherlands via Singapore was required.
Our customer is located in China and needed to ship a number of 20′ containers. The enquiry was actually generated via agency work and our contact in China had reached out needing our help and expertise in order to get it cleared.
It also took our expertise to pull together a full plan for the customer suggesting how best to avoid space congestion and extra late charges at the sea port clearance.
Solution
Working together with our agent in China we knew exactly what the customer requirements were and we were able to ensure a straightforward delivery from China into Singapore. We were able to take all 20′ containers into Singapore being able to handle local clearance and then delivery for the customer.
The cargo that was being moved was all heavy cargo, our operations and appointed transporter were able to discuss with the customer and arrange the freight avoiding space congestion and extra late charges for sea port clearance.
Outcome
All cargo was able to arrive at its final destination on time in the Netherlands. The customer had called to thank TCB Group for all the hard work that had gone into this project and were very complimentary of the service offering, suggestions and follow-up provided by our operations department.
